He attended Hendersonville High School with Taylor, and they were friends, then they started dating. There are lots of rumours about which songs are about him, the main ones being Cold As You, Should’ve Said No (which is kinda confirmed as the hidden message is SAM SAM SAM SAM SAM) A Perfectly Good Heart, You’re Not Sorry… 

Yeah so anyway basically they dated and broke up because he cheated on her and stuff and like now all the Swifties are like, “GO FUK URSELF SAM UR WORTHLESS!” and that, and I just think that yeah, he did cheat on her then fair enough he deserved the song, but we don’t know the full story and we don’t know what went on after that, or if there was reasoning, like maybe she did something to him, and we know Taylor likes to over-dramatize things in her songs but I don’t know but I just think hating on him still in 2012, 6 years after it happened, is kind of idiotic. He’s moved on with his life now, apparently he is engaged, and people still leave him hate on Facebook for it. It’s like, what the fuck? 6 years people, six years. He is probably a whole different person now, Taylor is.
